I’m asking for a friend who just download Minecraft on PC and wishes to download custom texture packs. What websites are good and reliable whom my friend can trust to actually download these texture packs without the fear of getting any viruses.
For a non-vanilla alternative: Des Bijoux Textures. It's the only really polished ray-tracing texture pack that I've found that seems to make their own unique pixel-art-style textures from scratch. This makes it easier to make minigames and have a uniform texture pack for all players. On Java Edition however, you cannot add resource packs on realms, so the only way to have everyone have the same resource pack is to have them ...
Aside from going directly to your files, you can download it, and go into minecraft, options, video settings, resource packs, and then click on the button saying resource pack folder, or something similar to that. Do RTX Texture Packs exist for Java? If so, are there any that provide RTX lighting without full reskins of everything? Just OG Minecraft with RTX. I already have the recommended specs. Sorry if I misunderstand something about this process. Thanks! Edit: Are packs like Defined PBR or Kelly's compatible with Java?
