Store Street (Irish: Sráid an Stórais) is a short street in Dublin, Ireland, running from Amiens Street at right angles to Beresford Place. History [ edit ] The street derived its name from the many stores and warehouses that dominated the area due to the proximity to the Custom House Docks complex from the 1790s onwards.
