Just thought I'd share my experience upgrading to Youtube Premium Family for $14.99/month. TLDR this option is still available to those with grandfathered plans. I was in a somewhat unique situation. Originally signed up for GPM for 7.99/month back in 2013. In Feb 2016 they had a special offer on GPM gift membership which made it $5/month.
Youtube TV only has the $14.99/mo option and doesn't give the option to pay in full or to pay for different levels (gives no information at all actually). I decided to do a trial period on nba.com but can't find any way to sync NBA league pass with youtube TV.

$73 for YouTube TV $14.99 hulu $22 for Netflix I get free Disney + from vzw Free apple from my wife's phone. Cable company charged me $115 for just internet so changed to vzw lte home internet for $25 So what used to be a big savings now isn't as much... Plus every channel has a streaming service if you want to watch shows coming out.
