129 posts · Joined 2010. #5 · Mar 1, 2019. Looks like it should be easy to reduce the trigger pull on the Tristar G2 Viper. Once you've removed the trigger assembly, just punch out the trigger pin (Trigger Group Part #8) and remove the trigger slowly. Then remove the Trigger Spring (Part 7) and replace with a lighter one.

I'll probably buy either the top single or the O/U. The problem is I'm having trouble finding dealers. I'm in eastern PA near Reading.

For similar or slightly more money you can find a good, high condition shotgun of known quality. I think you're being a little unfair to lump all Tri-Star guns into the junk category.

I already have a 12 gauge Khan O/U and a 16 gauge Hunter EX. If this would have been a 20 gauge, I would have bought it on the spot. I like the Turkish shotguns.
I always shot my browning 725 combo unsingle for the longest time. I mainly shoot trap, and thought this will be the last shotgun I'll ever buy. Lately, I kept seeing these adds for the new tristar tt-15 combo trap gun. So I kept doing the research, and could not find one bad review. I've always had a fascination for unsingle barrel trap guns ...
For me, shotgun triggers with a fairly crisp break and pull weight that's not distracting are good enough. Nice ones are a bonus, but I really don't seem to notice heavy or mushy ones like I would in a rifle or pistol (where I would hate them). Which spring did you order. Like. 41 - 41 of 41 Posts. 1 2 3.
71 posts · Joined 2011. #16 · Oct 10, 2021 (Edited) been shooting my tristar TT-15 DTA combo since 2018. it's served me very well. love the fully adjustable stock and rib, was able to get it perfectly adjusted for myself. out of the box it was shooting pretty high, i lowered it to my personal preference of 60/40.

I had heard absolutely nothing about them but saw one one day in a local gun shop, it felt great in all aspects, mechnically and functionally sound ...
Tristar G2 Bronze Failure To Feed Problem/Solution. I bought the G2 bronze in 20 gage for a pheasant gun. Unfortunately it has cycling issues. I took the gun on a four day pheasant hunt and it will fail to feed about 2 out of 25 shots using 3 inch pheasant load shells. I'm on my third box and it still does it.
The TT-15 is a great gun for a beginner. Where else can you get a 34" O/U Barrel with adjustable Rib, adjustable Comb, awesome recoil pad, decent wood, 5-year Warranty, for $1000 dollars. Ya, so what its made in Turkey!!!!! In my opinion its a great $1000 gun.
