My dad purchased a Harbor Freight Saw Blade Sharpener a couple months ago, and had a hard time setting it up. He stated that his ol brain just doesn't work the best anymore for this sort of stuff, not too mention typically HF directions can be a PITA. So he asked me if I could take it home and set it up for him and show him how to use it.
Fast forward to beginning of last year, 2020, I decided to haft the harbor freight hatchet with a wooden handle to satisfy a bushclass elective. I had already thinned the cheeks down once. And I decided to take them down even more with a set of flap wheels and angle grinder before hafting it. The steel on mine is soft.
I just saw a Harbor Freight ad and they had an axe for 29.00. Wood handle 4.5 lb head and 30.5 inch handle. I would not use it very much as I mainly use my Estwing hatchets. Fyi if you keep an eye out online you can find good 100% wool military surplus blankets come up from time to time for 2-2.5 times the cost of that $12 Harbor Freight blanket. Makes more sense to buy one good blanket relatively cheap than buy several "disposable" blankets over time.

I purchased a Harbor Freight dust collector and intend to upgrade the impeller. I am having a serious issue getting the stock impeller off. I have never done this before and do not want to mess up the impeller (incase I need it for later) or the shaft. I purchased a set of gear pullers and still cold not get it to come off.
