Appreciation for 'Murder House'. So I've grown up on survival horror. My first game was Resident Evil 2 as a young lad at around age 6 or 7. It fascinated me. Time went on and I ended up obsessed with Resident Evil. I then went on to play series like Silent Hill, and eventually Dead Space, Condemned, Amnesia, Outlast, and on and on.
My first Puppet Combo game was Nun Massacre, and I knew immediately I had stumbled onto something unique. My second purchase was Scary Tales Vol 1. (Hope there’s a vol 2 someday). It costs $6.66 on Itch.io. The game Night Shift(included in Scary Tales) is the only game in my life where I actually screamed.

Eveyone who enjoyed Murder House should definitely subscribe to their pateron for at least a month at 10 bucks, gets their back catalogue. Tho I'd suggest leaving it running for at least a few given the quality. Of course this is pc related, and doesn't help the console only users discovering them through Murder House.
I find his games like Nun Massacre and Powerdrill Massacre scarier and overall more memorable. Murder House is great, but I find it a lot less unpredictable, and therefore less tense. I still jump a foot out of my seat when I get caught unaware in Powerdrill Massacre, I can't say the same for Murder House. 2.
