I would like to access Air Force Portal through a browser. To do this I need to use my CAC to log in. I could probably plug the reader into the camera interface USB port. If I had access to the AF Portal I can access webmail for my official emails.

Hi! I have a new DOD CAC with a PIV certificate. My CAC and reader work fine, I can log into other DOD CAC websites. My issue is with chrome and logging into web outlook. When I log into web outlook, I select my ID certificate, and I'm prompted to enter my pin. But I get an "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR." My PIV certificate is aligned with my work email.
macOS Catalina disabled CAC reader capabilities. Hello, I updated to 10.15.14 last weekend and now cannot access sites requiring military CAC credentials. The smart card reader is working since the green light turns on when I plug in my CAC but I get "No DoD certificate was presented" when accessing a military site.
The only way iPad Pro would support one is if whoever makes the CAC reader provides an app in the App Store. I was unable to find one. My research suggests they need a custom driver.
