I am doing a new run and am just installing everything fresh, mixing old ones, not even patch 7 updated from nexus, patch 7 from nexus AND ingame mods. So far without any major hick ups. 3. Get used to using both Nexus BG3MM and IGMM because not only will Larian not allow some mods, a lot of modders already decided never to use the IGMM. 4.
I did a full windows reinstall after getting sick of problems with the BG3 Mod Manager and decided to try Vortex for BG3. Everything *looks* like it installs fine until I try to load a modded save game and BG3 tells me no mods are installed. I go back to Vortex and see the Deployment Interrupted message.
2. Make any alterations using appropriate mods on PC. 3. Before saving with new changes remove the "Shared" and SharedDev folders. 4. Save game. 5. Check PS5 it should work. May need to restart BG3 on PS to get the cloud save to sync.

I had no idea their mod manager would affect the way I use Vortex. I had no desire to use their in house mods. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a choice. I tried using the 6.9 beta and for whatever reason, the game still won't load. I then tried loading my game with the 7 patch while deleting all the conflicting mods.
These are common mods such as ImprovedUI and Extra Dyes for the Fashionable Folks of Faerun. And I haven't seen anyone else mention this issue. Posted January 28, 2021. When you start Baldurs Gate 3 and close it again, look out for a notification in Vortex telling you that "modsettings.lsx" was reset. If you get that, at least one of your mods in invalid, meaning it's not supported by (this version of) BG3. Also check on the load order page that the mods are all enabled.
Check any mods that alter or add things to that information, disable all but one, and then try to open it.
