Full release issues. Baldur's Gate 3 had a huge mod-breaking update on August 3rd 2023 when the game left early access. Some of the files that Vortex (and other mod managers) were relying on changed and have possibly become corrupted while we were updating our Vortex support for it.
I had no idea their mod manager would affect the way I use Vortex. I had no desire to use their in house mods. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a choice. I tried using the 6.9 beta and for whatever reason, the game still won't load. I then tried loading my game with the 7 patch while deleting all the conflicting mods.

Posted January 28, 2021. When you start Baldurs Gate 3 and close it again, look out for a notification in Vortex telling you that "modsettings.lsx" was reset. If you get that, at least one of your mods in invalid, meaning it's not supported by (this version of) BG3. Also check on the load order page that the mods are all enabled.
I reinstalled LSLib\Divine, uninstalled the Italian translation in case it created conflicts, however the game still doesn't read mods. I'm posting some screenshots of mine or vortex, in case there was some wrong setting. However until the update the mods worked perfectly with these settings. Thanks for your attention.
Inside folder "C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles" do you have more folders then just Public? It should only be the Public folder, so delete any folder besides Public.
As the title indicates, I have a number of mods installed and activated in BG3MM. I use Vortex to download, install, and update mods (at least for those that can work with Vortex, which is most of them), and then I use BG3MM for my Load Order and to export my modsettings.lsx file.
This will reset load order but an easy way to check if you have orphaned pak files that are causing the problem is to Purge mods in Vortex and then check the Mods folder (%APPDATA&\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods). This should be now empty. If it isn't, then there are PAK files there that Vortex hasn't installed and this is causing ...
