TL;DR - Tracked a crashing issue down to realtek audio driver. Generic windows 10 HD audio driver works fine. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue. (Or maybe this info can be helpful to others doing troubleshooting) This seems to be linked to a strange file included in the realtek audio driver package - mbfilt64.sys

Report abuse. how to reinstall audio driver for windows 11. 1- Sign in to the Administrator account and open Device Manager. 2- Expand Device Manager so you can see your audio device. 3- Right-click on your audio device and choose 'Uninstall this device'. Do not choose to remove the driver.
The tool was successfully installed and i restarted the system as required, but nothing's has changed. I believe Windows Update 20H2 has rendered my Realtek Audio Driver to not work, and there seems to be no newer Realtek Audio Driver available. Either Microsoft or Realtek will have to release an updated driver to work with Windows Update 20H2.
