Internet Essentials can directly help you apply for the $30 ACP federal benefit which in turn also immediately qualifies you for the Internet Essentials plan at $9.95/mo. You can also apply online to qualify for both or either program on your own relatively quickly, but you can do it all right over the phone in real time with Internet Essentials.
Yes! You can have TV services with internet Essentials and you keep the same plan for internet. However, they can’t be bundled together so you would need to add TV separately. We are on ACP, which is about to end, thus contacted Xfinity (chat) to assist with switching to Internet essentials 50Mbps $10/m plan. Representative confirmed we were eligible, but told that in order to make a switch, we need to add mobile service. We did not want any mobile services etc, so asked to just do home Internet plan adjustment.
