I tried changing the default apps in protocol, but there is only 1 options (the current onenote) and when I click search the microsoft store, it says onenote is installed.

OneNote system is up to date (in Windows), clearing Cache and Backup folders didn't work. Storage space is not an issue either. Going offline or pausing syncronization didn't work (even without internet connection, OneNote will still freeze in "Not responding" for minutes). However OneNote online (in Sharepoint) works fine.
