13 May 2012 at 2:09PM. I have just found some unused Virgin Atlantic airmiles with Virgin Flying Club which expire on 15 May. I forgot I had them as I changed PCs earlier this year. I am flying out to US on 15 May with Virgin but that was booked via a travel agent.

I have received 1 confirmation email. I have called Virgin Atlantic (as virgin holidays are currently closed) and virgin Atlantic have confirmed that there is only 1 Virgin Holidays (or in total there's definitely only 1) booking under my details. I've just checked my recent booking on the Virgin website and it is showing the first name and the middle name as one on the booking, eg instead of Edward James it shows Edwardjames, for my daughter instead of Clare Rose it is Clarerose and for my husband instead of James Keith it is Jameskeith.
In May we contacted Virgin Atlantic who offered us an 'Open Ticket' - there didnt seem to be any other options so we agreed to take the open ticket as we want to go to Barbados in 2021. I have started looking at flights for 2021 and the price of the flight for Economy delight is coming out at the same price as a premium economy tickets cost us.

The Virgin brand is not affected by the takeover. The Virgin Money brand will be licensed by Clydesdale Bank plc for 4 years after the takeover completes at the end of this year, then a further 2 as they exit the brand license. That's a total of 6 years, or the end of 2030. There isn't a single to-do list to integrate the two operations.
