Removed from NRHP. August 26, 2005. The Mueller Lumber Company was located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. [1] It has since been torn down and it was delisted from the NRHP in 2005. [2] The site is now the main clinic for Community Health Care.

St. Ambrose was founded as a seminary and school of commerce for young men in 1882, known as St. Ambrose Academy. It owes its beginning to the first Bishop of Davenport, John McMullen, who founded it under the auspices of the Diocese of Davenport. The affiliation remains strong today.
Other commercial ventures occupied the main floor commercial space over the years. Along with the former Mueller Lumber Company building on the 500 block of Second Street, this structure was torn down and is now the location of Community Health Care's downtown complex today. It was delisted from the National Register in 2014.
