Here's a couple of reasons why, reload 30+ times, pick up with a magnet, easily withstands Major 9 pressures. Nolan. Other than being magnetic any 9mm case can do the rest. I have reloaded some a dozen times or more but in the real world you lose them way before that.
I know this forum has a fairly broad Mark 7 user base, so I'm hoping to find an answer to a fairly specific question: Does the shell plate spring on the Apex 10 actively exert pressure on the case to secure it upright in the notch of the shell plate, or is there clearance between the spring and c...
If you really want to grasp for a reason to pick one over the other, decide whether you value retention or smooth shell release more. If you want to spend less, Taccom caddies are perfectly serviceable, and won't hold you back by any means... though it's a tad harder to yank 4 shells out of them while maintaining good alignment for a quad load.
The retainer tabs do help with debris getting under the shell plate but powder still does make it through. Double alpha has what is called the PSP or the powder spill presenter which is a brush that mounts with a magnet to my super 1050.
The shell holders on the Partner are the same (as I recall) as on the Rockchucker - you slide them in and out of the top of the ram, there is a clip spring to hold tension on it. The slot is on the "front" of the ram above the primer arm.

The other option is the shell carrier from the 1100 CompetitionMaster. It is about 4 times longer than the stock button, but not as ...

Also shell plate would not always advance like normal. Replaced usual parts without correcting this. Looked at the plate and the indents on 2 had marks/gouges or were missing. Replaced the shell plate with an old one and 1 spot was worn completely and shell actually dropped between plate and slide. Question using only brass cases.
Classifieds. 362. Gender:Male. Location:Pasco, Washington. Posted June 30, 2019. If you were to machine the receiver to accept the Ethos oblong button vs the M2 round button, could you run a 2 piece ethos latch in a M2? I see in ROTH’s custom M2 receiver, you can run either, but not sure if there’s other mods going on.
Need ideas. Changed the damaged #5 shell plate and it works great. This never happened with old plate. Same wire ejector and even used a spare. Since changing it every once in a while a finished round gets cocked crooked under the wire ejector causing the plate to snap and spill powder out of the other cases.
