Hello, for years I’ve been able to access Youtube songs or various car fix up topics (and anything else) with the VPN on (I always have it on). Today, Norton did an Update and when I went to Youtube and asked for a song (and anything else) and up pops a black box asking me to “Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot”.
I’m so pissed right now. I’ve been trying to connect my VPN for like 4 hours now. My VPN was working fine until today and now I just get the message that “Your Connection is unprotected”. I’ve followed all the suggestions on their website and nothing is working. Right now, I feel like unsubscribing and turning to another anti-virus.

Hello, I believe this all happened yesterday, (Feb.8,2024) when I foolishly clicked LiveUpdate on my Norton 350 Deluxe. It stopped a few times after attempting a couple of LONG (almost frozen) "updating drivers" (or some similar message). Of course that is hit and miss due to most VPN’s leaking you actual IP address and the BBC see it. If you us IPv6 Norton VPN is know to leak using it thus, your actual geo-location is exposed. If you ARE in the UK and have a valid license to BBC content the issue should be address with BBC concerning why they are blocking your connection.
This was working fine till sometime over yhe last few weeks. I have Chrome added as an exclusion, yet its no longer excluded. I tried repairing, reinstalling and restarting windows to no avail. It’s an important feature to me that some apps can bypass the VPN. I’m using prog ver: 24.7.9311.860 Ui ver: 1.09 OS details: Windows 11 Pro, 23H2
