I use the Graph API to schedule the event and monitor the feed. My only problem is that my streaming software doesn't have an API to update the streaming key so I can change it to the one of the scheduled event, and as such want to use a persistent one. @LuukD.Jansen Yes, you just need to make a new POST to set the status to LIVE_NOW ...
New Member. Apr 18, 2022. #1. Using OBS Studio we can successfully stream live videos to Facebook using their Live Producer web page. This involves using a persistent streaming key, scheduling the event in advance and manually previewing the live stream video for about 5 minutes before manually selecting "Go Live" within Live Producer.
For research purposes, I would like to know how to get the stream key of any Facebook Live stream. I've read tutorials on doing this for Twitch, and it seems straightforward, but I need it for Face...
3. Is there any way to obtain Persistent Stream Key trough graph api? I do see option 'Use a persistent stream key' on the configure stream page. But there is no parameter to set it by API. I'd like publish the stream when it's stopped but keep the same key for streaming. Looks like I have to create a new key every time but it's quite inconvenient.
Please post a link to a clean log file. 1) Restart OBS as Admin. Right click on OBS shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.. 2) Start your stream for at least 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. 3) Stop your stream.

Facebook is telling OBS that in order to stream to it, it needs to use a secure (RTMPS) connection. But OBS 18.0.1 does not have this feature, so the connection fails. In the past, Facebook would have requested a secure connection, but ...
With the idea that maybe it had to do with the persistent stream key we created a new event and started inviting people to that. Unfortunately that didn't solve the problem, and that show also wouldn't stream. We were able to stream outside of our events using restream.io, and were able to get it to go live using a non event url.
Jan 20, 2020. #1. I have been using OBS to LiveStream on FB for a while now with no issues. This week however, I get the following message when I select "Start Streaming". "Could not access the specified channel or stream key, please double-check your stream key. If it is correct, there may be a problem connecting to the server."
Audio using unsupported codec Please set the audio codec for the stream to a supported codec (AAC).
