When your Expand the Image Trace object (Object menu > Image Trace > Expand), the white areas will be see through. Upvote.
Please see attached image of a photo of a document I took with my phone ..It has handwriting on it that I want to remove in Acrobat Pro. The background is gray. I can edit the image, then click it and press delete but it leaves a white background and some of the text is altered.
Open up your original downloaded file. In your Layers panel, you will notice your drop shadows are in the Multiply Mode. If you change it to Normal Mode, then you get white. These files will only work inside Illustrator. Exporting this to other file formats and then overlaying in Photoshop will not work.
1 Correct answer. They way, I've found It is Clipping Path. You just select your object. Now go to the Object>Clipping Path>Option Now from this window change your Type Click drop down menu select Detect Edges. But it is a simple clipping path to remove a background from an image in InDesign.
Open your Layer Styles: Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options. At the bottom, you'll see the Blend If section. With your Alt/Option key held down, drag the left side of the Highlight slider (right slider) to the left. This will smoothly remove the white matte of that layer. Thanks for the info. You may as well simply go to export>choose png>the png options dialog box comes>on it choose transparent at the background color scroll bar.all the best. What if you want to remove the white background from a .AI file and save it as a .AI file.
Hi, I'm trying to remove the white background from a vector texture image, and to leave only the texture part. Essentially i want to be able to change the background to different colors and to have that same texture effect. With that file go to the layers panel. Open all the layers, groups and whatnot. Find the item called "clipping path".
Once you select the knight, tap the cmd J key to jump that selection onto a new layer without the white background. Turn off the base layer so that you can see the transparency white/gray checkerboard. Select that layer and under the File menu, Export your selection from Photoshop as a .png with transparency.
