I need to find out the date (year is enough) of satellite imagery from Bing Maps (UK locations), I am using Aerial and Birds Eye view for a habitat mapping project and there is significant discrepancies with other sources of aerial imagery and existing info, so I need to know f BING maps is more up to date or not. To remove labels from Bing Maps Bird's Eye View, you need to untick the "Show labels" box in the drop-down menu that you pick either Birds Eye or Aerial from. You can also click on the "Map Style" button in the top right corner of the map and select "Aerial" view with roads/labels turned off.

I actually do see exactly that. However, what I asked was"Where did Birds Eye View go?". Aerial is satellite, and streetside is drive by. Neither of those is birds eye which was low level fly over 45 degree visuals of much of the US and available up until recently. - - OK. Sorry. I rarely used birdseye view. It does appear to be gone. In the online Bing maps there is a feature wich allows you to switch to bird's-eye view. It lets you view something from three different angles, wich is, in my opinion, something that lets Bing maps stand out against google maps. I would like to see this feature in the Windows 10 desktop app and also on mobile if possible.
I'm pretty sure the only option to rotate the image when using bird's eye on Bing maps is by clicking on the two rotating arrows that rotate the image 90º. If you want to send a feedback about this feature on Bing Maps, click the Feedback link on the bottom of most Bing Maps webpages.

Bing Maps - "Explore MAPS APPS" feature on the Aerial View no longer there. What happened to the "Explore MAPS APPS" feature of Bing Maps? This included a Distance Measurement Tool used on the Aerial View.
