I've tried scuf, the fusion, a battlebeaver, an elite series2.. The new scuf instinct is absolutely my favorite controller I've ever had. The build quality is nice and my gameplay has gotten better even only a week after using it. The old scuf paddles would break but the new buttons instead are fantastic.
I've tired deleting drivers and reinstalling them, tried DS4windows, tried connecting via Bluetooth and via Xbox dongle for pc. if anyone has a solution to this problem please let me know, really want to use controller before i decide to return. ive already submitted a ticket and am now waiting to hear back from Scufgaming. controller is really ...
If you fall into the bucket that I am in, I think Scuf is an excellent choice (not the mention the feel of the Scuf stick is amazing)! If you decide to go with Scuf, please make sure you get the right stick raised and the left default size. But if you decide the Dualsense Edge is the better choice, it seems like a great controller for sure!
Scuf controllers are awesome when they are working correctly but as soon as a issue arises with the controller it literally makes you not want to play again (especially FPS) until you get it back. Had to wait two weeks for mines due to stick drift and I just couldn’t play without my paddles.
(i have a slight prejeduce against paying $250~ for a Scuf controller that is just a remodelled Xbox default controller with additional cheap parts. They dont upgrade any of the default parts other than adding their own paddle functionality, joysticks, triggers et al are the Xbox default components that come with the basic xbox controller.)
I have used Elite Series 2, Scuf impact, Scuf Reflex, and dualsense Aimcontroller. I have used the Scuf envision for 22 hours of in game play (Modern Warfare III) Response time: early on many states that the envision couldn’t be OCed (increase polling rate) but over time (and I tested it) this controller has the best polling rate out of the box.
Looks like it's the Scuf Envision ($129.00) and the Scuf Envision Pro ($179.00) - if you search Scuff Envision, you'll see the BestBuy pages already preloaded for the drop. Link to controller details - I'll definitely be skipping this one; not impressed. Link to wireless Pro version.
Scuf is so much better! first off the wait time. Scuf will send and deliver your controller BEFORE the estimated time on the website and they will give you daily updates on your order. BattleBeaver will take months longer than the estimated time and won’t tell you anything! next is the customer service.
For all repairs or refurbishments performed by Scuf Gaming, the Warranty Period is the later of (i) three months (90 days) beginning the date the Product was shipped back to you, or (ii) the original Warranty Period from the original purchase of the Product.
I find the position of the paddles far superior and although scufs are infamous for breaking around the 9 month mark, my aim controller got drift in both joysticks and a broken headphone jack at ~7 months. $250 for a PS5 Aim controller is ridiculous when scuf charges $200, I’m pretty sure aim charges more for shipping as well plus aim ...
