Basically I don't own an X/S, so cloud is the only way I am able to play this title currently. Rockstar has severed progress between the Xbox One and the X/S versions, so all of my progress is now on this current version. It is now prompting me to purchase the title for 20% off, but I am leery to do so if I can't actually keep playing it.
I am installing gta 5 on disc. It goes well until it stops at 57% and say installation stoped. I try installing again and the same thing happens each time
In addition to what the previous user mentioned, Grand Theft Auto 5 cannot be purchased or run from the Xbox platform on PC or from the Microsoft Store on that device. You need to buy and run it from a different platform such as the Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games, Steam, etc.

I just upgraded my subscription from xbox live to the ultimate package which includes game pass. I loaded my GTA 5 in my console and it wont load. There are several errors coming up to which I have cleaned the disc and checked to make sure my subscription indicates completed. It still wont launch.
