The prices on that page are compared to the hearing aids I paid $5,500 for 6 years ago through a traditional audiologist. Same brands, same features, $4000 difference in pricing for the same brand and quality of hearing aids.
Minor sidetrack… My hearing aid app has a “find my hearing aids” function. I laughed about this at my last audiologist visit. I said “My hearing aids are either in the charger, or in my ears. Where else would they be?” My audiologist explained that that function is not for people like me, it’s for people who only wear them occasionally.

Being a store owner and also going through a not very pleasent treatment for hepatitis-c. I would never let anyone try on earrings. I have received numerious dirty looks and a few tossed earrings on my jewelery counter but only because of having the customers best interest at heart. Sure it maybe unlikely but not all together imposible.

I’m not entirely sure how/when would use one with a man, but they use condoms over the transvaginal ultrasound wand for women. Keeps it clean, provides a little lube… So there’s at least one legitimate medical use for condoms that isn’t sexually related. Or it’s possible your grandfather had a girlfriend in the nursing home.
