You definitely are in the wrong sub, vanilla visa cards are not credit cards, this sub focus more in credit health/rebuilding, bonuses etc. Another thing you didn't mention is the issuer bank for your visa GC, and the balance being reported, lots of fraud with them lately. I just figured out a "fix" to this. I was having this same issue. If you want to use the whole balance of the vanilla card towards reloading your amazon balance, you have to input one cent less than what is on the card. So a $25 vanilla card, you must input $24.99.
Google, PayPal, Amazon, and some other merchants have been blocked recently. It's weird because I just did a Google purchase last week, now it won't work because of this. I hope so too, the only merchant that works for me on using vanilla giftcard currently is Roblox. The rest, like Google does not accept.
