Hi I have the same question, and I don't have the test feature. Here's what worked for me: Go to your settings>more>device settings. Scroll down to microphone. Now here's where it gets interesting. Pic your microphone because it will have picked a mic for you which may not be yours. My mic is a logicam webcam. Now see if people can hear you.

Reboot PC - check mic is seen again in device manager, then turn back on "mic access for device" and turn back on "allow app access for your mic". Mic was then fully functional. BTW two of my windows 10 PCs had the same problem with C920 and both were fixed by the above process.
