I am just mentioning the Sony because Joewood is considering an LCD TV. I have a customer that purchased a Proscan 40 something inch from Circuit City 2 years ago and it is still kicking.

Got the 7 to work (except for the above problems) with the Proscan TV. But, when I have cable box selected, the volume won't change on the TV. Have to go to the TV select button on the 7 to get the volume to change. This was not the case with the original Proscan remotes. With them, you could select CABLE, and still change the volume. Any thoughts?
