I have the original first-generation iPhone SE. The charging port barely works nowadays. If I plug it into a charger, it won't charge, unless I apply pressure to the charging cable and push it to the side. If I try to put the phone on my charging dock, it won't charge unless I have the phone leaning a bit to the side while on the dock.
Hello to the MacRumors forum community. First, see below link. Second, I have a new iPhone SE (2022 model). I have no issues with my carrier's connection. That's fine. Third, what my issue has to do with is the Wi-Fi. When returning home, I often have to turn it off/on to work.
Timing. The latest word comes from Bloomberg 's Mark Gurman. In his Power On newsletter last month, he said he expects the next iPhone SE to launch in the spring of 2025. All three existing iPhone SE models were announced in March over the years, so it seems likely that the fourth-generation model will also be introduced in March next year.

My experience with iOS15 so far has been positive, I of course can't speak for anyone else so opinions vary. One things for sure, if you update to iOS 15 you can't go back to 14.8 so you meed to be sure you're willing to take the plunge.. aditya22. N.
With iOS 15.4.1 the SE1 feels faster/smoother, BUT the battery life is even worse (another 25% loss) compared to 15.3.1 (also lost 25% with this update). When opening apps, even the settings app, you can see how the percentage going down, the phone getting hot and the iOS and system data taking more space/storage.
If the iPhone 16 starting price is $829 (TBD) and the iPhone SE 4 starting price is $499 (TBD), that would make the iPhone SE 4 more affordable compared to other iPhones than what the original SE was i.e., only 60.2% of the base starting price instead of 61.5% of the base starting price.
