EMSTesting.com was supremely fucked. My class mates and I routinely only made 40-60s on their tests. I believe every 1 of us that made it to the final exam passed it, and I passed the state exam just fine. I highly recommend paramedic pocket prep. It's designed for national registry. It has some questions here and there that are pretty dumb.
My program used EMSTesting and a lot of graduates thought emstesting was actually harder than NREMT. I think they were very similar and EMS testing matched the format of NREMT questions well. If you do well on emstesting AND you understand the material well (i.e., you’re not just gaming the formats of test questions) you’ll pass. 3.
EmsTesting.com / Platinum Education - Help!!! Testing / Exams. Hi everyone, I enrolled in an expedited EMT program at my local college, and while I’m glad I’m learning a lot, no-one here has been prepared for EMSTesting.com. We were under the impression that the course would be efficient and visibly structured, but it has been anything but ...
Honestly, I found Platinum/EMS Testing to be more difficult than the NREMT, though very similar. That combined with the analytics it provides makes it a fantastic tool, at least in my experience. Passed the NREMT first try and I give a lot of credit for that to Platinum. 1. Grouchy_Sock_454.

For the past couple of decades, by far the majority of people pass all level of EMS classes with EMR being the easiest. Either you or your school is doing something wrong. Those sites often test harder than the standards to encourage better pass rates on the state tests. But, despite being EMR, it shouldn’t be easy.

Platinum ed was made just like the NREMT test. It’s built to distract, and confuse you. Best advice is read the last sentence of the question and then the answers. Then skim through important things like pt age, vitals, and conditions. For testing, it’s time skilled but not as stressful as adaptives.
Adaptive testing means you can take tests on specific subjects. It’s not specific to your text book and takes questions from multiple different books so not all the answers will be available in your text book. They’re pretty useful, I take a couple of them before each exam. 1. Award.
Like at least a few times a week. I was not one of those people. It took me much longer to pass it. Retest whenever you get the chance. So in my school every level has to take and pass the adaptive test with at least a 70. I’m in advanced class now but I took the test 83 times at my basic level to finally pass it.
