The Fairfax County Public Schools system ( FCPS) is a school division in the U.S. commonwealth of Virginia. It is a branch of the Fairfax County government, which administers public schools in Fairfax County and the City of Fairfax. FCPS's headquarters is located in the Gatehouse Administration Center in Falls Church, Virginia.
Luther Jackson Middle School. 38°52′06″N 77°13′44″W Luther Jackson Middle School (Region 2, [ 1] grades 7–8 [ 47] ), located southwest of Falls Church, is one of 26 public middle schools in the county. It opened in 1954 as Luther Jackson High School, the first all-black high school in Fairfax County.
It is open to all senior staff, students of the institution, and alumni of the university. The library also admits outside learners with cogent reasons and a letter of introduction from a recognized university official (i.e. dean of a faculty, head of department from the visitor's school or director of an organization).
