Email has evolved to be a considerably less formal format and for most officers below GO, I start with Sir or Ma'am. For enlisted where I do not have personal relationship, I use the 3 letter rank followed by their name, eg MSG Jones. However, since he has made his desire known, I would just use the CW4.
I don't think there really is one. Each unit does their OpOrds differently, therefore the Reclama is ALSO different. In essence, write a Reclama as you would an OpOrd, using the same basic template, but scaled WAY down, to include only the pertinent data about why filling the Order is not possible. Edited 5 y ago. Posted 5 y ago. Unless they changed how to do that, the 6 step method doesn't give you the MSD. You pull MSD from two different charts or a separate equation from the manual. NEW is based on TNT equivalency. The source was FM 5-250. And yes, best asked in a closed forum. Vote up.
Posted 6 y ago. I've never actually heard of this being done but I would imagine you have two options here: 1. You can create a transcript of the actual dialogue and attach it to a blanket memorandum format or 2. You can use a memorandum format and simple give the overall jist as necessary to achieve your purpose.
