We rented through DVC Rental Store, but haven't actually made the trip yet. We leave in just over a week. The correspondence with them has been fantastic. I went with the Rental Store for 2 reasons. One, the ability to have a down payment and not pay in full until 45 days out.

Originally was looking for 5 nights at Poly, the owner had 6 nights available so I did that. It was $1600 for the six nights, $266.00/night vs the $750/night we paid rack rate in April 2019. Pros: Cost, Duh.

Possibly. If their staff lists are up-to-date David's has a larger staff. If memory serves me correctly DVC Rental Store has always paid more to owners and not required a search deposit. DVC Rental Store has #1 placement in Google for "rent DVC points" so they've got that going for them.
