Adobe Digital Editions does not sync across devices. According to the product descriptions and several FAQs I found, it is an alleged feature that when I download media and open it in Digital Editions on, say, my PC, it should sync to my Digital Editions (same ID) on other devices like my tab. I have 'auto-download' enabled.

This works. I have faced similar issue after a windows update, later this steps solved my problem. Step 1: Delete the " My Digital Editions " folder or rename it to " My Digital Editions.old ", delete would be better. Step 2: Go to this location : "C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Adobe_Systems_Incorporate".

Here is thte solution: (NOTE: If you renamed the folder to .OLD previously, rename it back and remove the .OLD. You may have to delete the new 'My Digital Editions' folder that was created or rename it to .NEW first.) In the Documents folder, in the 'My Digital Editions' Folder:
P.S. I am able to successfully authorize ADE with my Adobe username/password. However, I'm using the Google Play Store for book purchases and I assume that I need to authorize that account from ADE.
