  3. Safariland ELS setup list - Brian Enos's Forums

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/147063-safariland-els-setup-list

Don't forget to get a QLS setup, there are 3 types. This is the attachment for the holster to the belt. The holster does not use the regular ELS mount. I had to order one after the fact. Also, you can order most of the mag pouches with the ELS 34 and 35 already attached, so you don't need to order a 10 pack.

  6. 014 parts - Gear & Accessories - Brian Enos's Forums... Maku...

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/232743-014-parts

Safariland is really good with customer service, and a couple of times I have called and asked for little parts (shims and srews) and they sent them gratis. last time i called to try and buy a muzzle platform aluminium arm and they said they didn't sell that part or offer it as a replacement. So, some parts are apparently not available.

  7. Safariland Sizing - Brian Enos's Forums... Maku mozo!

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/215491-safariland-sizing

Classified. 95. Gender:Male. Location:Las Vegas. Posted May 21, 2015. I wear a 32"-33" pants, and got a 34" inner and a 36" outer on Safariland's suggestions. The hook side Velcro on the inner overlaps with no spare room (I tend to wear my belt right on the top of my hips) and I've got 5 extra holes on my outer belt.

  8. Mounting a Blade-Tech DOH holster on a Safariland QLS?

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/164686-mounting-a-blade-tech-doh-holster-on-a...

Safariland does have a belt with the QLS hole spacing but I think it is 2-1/4" wide, no idea if it also accepts ELS without drilling. What I found with adapting things to the ELS system is: I need to be willing to fiddle around, not be afraid to drill holes, use oddball screws, search the specialty screw bins at the hardward store and not be ...

  9. Safariland ELS - Very basic question - Brian Enos's Forums

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/164016-safariland-els-very-basic-question

There are lots of videos on Safariland's website about how to set up the ELS plates, etc., but nothing about the inner/outer belt arrangement. Probably because everyone but me gets it... Hate to sound stupid, but it ain't the first time! Thanks. Edited December 6, 2012 by shuter

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/98646-safariland-773-vs-771

Location:Alpharetta,GA between two ponds. Hello: I use the 771's for single stack since they release easier and smoother than the 773's for me. I just use a Unkle Mikes double mag holder for my 1911's in IDPA. Hope this helps and welcome Thanks, Eric.

  11. Break In Safariland holster? - Brian Enos's Forums

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/4793-break-in-safariland-holster

Posted October 15, 2002. The holster is very snug both on draw and returning to holster. I have to look carefully where I am holstering the pistol, and slide it in the exact right spot or the holster binds on the cylinder. The same issue happens when drawing, the cylinder is gripped excessivly tight, and I must carefully pull it at the right angle.
