It will be interesting to read any comments on the stability / useability of the Firestorm PBR release vs. the Official viewer (since PBR is still "new" in Firestorm). Some of the "complaints" so far about the Firestorm PBR release, I don't remember seeing for the Official viewer (but of course, it isn't used as much).
Having trouble with the new Firestorm on MAC, strange graphic problems like the eyes on some of my kittycats don't show up, some kittycats boxes don't completely load, etc. world flashes when camming. None of these problems until I installed 7.1.9 - using OS Sonoma on IMAC.
BSODs do often point to hardware issues yes but you should try a clean install of the Nvidia driver just in case. Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and follow the steps to completely wipe the driver first and then install the latest supported driver for the GT 635 and report back.
The following settings have helped squeeze some extra performance out of Second Life. I had first tested this on a 2016 Razer Blade laptop using an external GTX 1080. The performance went from barely getting 22 frames to 60 (I set a frame cap) setting the graphics slider midway between high and ultra in Firestorm.
Official site only shows previous 2-3 versions (Firestorm 6.4.21 64531 doesn't even have a Windows download link). Anyone know where I can find versions before that? One of these versions messed up the mesh uploader and I'm trying to see which older version I can install to avoid the issue.

Are the links called out in a slightly different section or in the middle of the 'about' text? Adding links to blogs, flickr, and so on have been standard features of SL profiles for a couple of years - but in their own section. I'd assumed Firestorm didn't hide all of that, did they?
