So, I just learned that the initial DBA program at Liberty required an Applied Doctoral Research Project (ADRP) before it went to the Dissertation requirement. In the AYs 2015-16 and 2016-17, the ADRP was required. However, in the AYs 2017-18 and 2018-19, there was a shift to the dissertation.

Liberty - I see their program is accredited. They have more specialization options. Not a huge fan of the religion or political aspects though. Not sure what employers would think about this university. Bellevue - I've never heard of it but I like how the DBA is structured (No final project, it is worked throughout the course).
I loved Liberty's program, but always wanted to concentrate in adult learning. So I decided to transfer out after 9 credits of doctoral work at 4.00 gpa with Liberty University. 2) In Christian Higher Education, I am sure that Liberty has a decent reputation. I am sure others would know more. Hopefully Chris will chime in more on that because I believe he is pursuing his PhD in CJ with Liberty. Liberty is consistently ranked among the most conservative Christian school in the U.S.
1) The schools represent different circles. LU is Baptist/fundamentalist (with a little "f", not King James only and the like), and Regent is charismatic. 2) The schools both have primary association with a controversial figure. LU had Falwell, and Regent has Pat Robertson. Pick your poison.
