I think for some cards the deal Goldin is running is a great way to sell high value raw cards quickly if the plan is to go from raw to graded to action. Auction houses like goldin or PWCC typically do well with big time cards (10k plus) as that’s where high end buyers look. Unfortunately while an awesome card this will get lost along the many other auctions. Try Myslabs next time you have a bigger card and want to sell it. Excellent website substitute for selling outside of eBay.

Where Ken Goldin comes in is he is the founder of Goldin Auctions which is also represented by Goldin Solutions. One of Goldin Auction's investors is Nat Turner who, with Steve Cohen, purchased Collectors Universe which purchased WATA.
Tell me, is it a coincidence that wata was recently bought by collectors universe, a private equity. And Goldin Auctions was recently bought by another private equity group called collectors group? Now goldin is pumping record sega game sale of a wata rated game. My friends, the game collection world is screwed up now.
