I use java edition primarily. it has access to more mods, more servers, and also things like plugins and datapacks. it also has a much larger player-base meaning that 80% of the time things like Minecraft tutorials are made for java edition. on top of all that bedrock has a lot of micro-transactions and paywalls for many things like skins and maps whereas on java things like that are free
