Eligible students enrolled full-time or part-time can receive the Fixed Tuition benefit. The program is designed as a cohort model. For example, eligible students who enroll for the first time at Appalachian State for Fall 2021 will be charged the tuition rate for Fall 2021 for the next 8 consecutive semesters of their enrollment.

Bills are generated in July for Fall, November for Spring, and April for Summer. Additional supplemental billing is sent frequently after the first bill. All billing for current students is sent via email to the student's @appstate.edu email account.
Undergraduate Online Program-Specific Tuition and Fees Programs offered in 8-week sessions. All undergraduate students enrolled in programs offered in 8-week sessions will be charged an Education and Technology Fee of $25 per credit hour and a Book Rental fee of up to $278.
Effective February 25, 2019, payments are made through the NEW Appalachian State University Billing and Payments Center by Touchnet. A non-refundable 2.85% fee (minimum $3.00 charge), also referred to as a "convenience fee," is assessed by a third party for all online card transactions.
