The Big John Farm Limestone Bank Barn, located north of U.S. Route 56 and east of Big John Creek in Council Grove, Morris County, Kansas, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. It is a bank barn, which is a barn built against a hillside having entrances on two levels.

Council Grove Dam is a rolled earth-fill embankment dam that stands 96 feet (29 m) above the streambed and 6,500 feet (2,000 m) long. [1] At its crest, the dam has an elevation of 1,321 feet (403 m). [3] An uncontrolled, 500-foot (150 m) wide spillway is located at the southwest end of the dam.
