Better than average but still pretty Hollywood, although the ending is memorable. The 1999 is better but getting to look at Faye Dunaway and her wardrobe makes the 1968 one worth a watch too. There is no 90s version. I haven't seen either version. The Rotten Tomatoes scores are close to a tie.

I watched The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) OLD. This was good enough but it had some problems, the bank heist itself wasn't really that memorable, it was a bit dull in the middle and Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway sadly had no chemistry. I really wanted to like this more and while I still think it was good, it used too much style over substance ...

I watched The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) Ostensibly a heist movie, it’s more of a seductive cat and mouse game between Pierce Brosnan’s titular character and Rene Russo’s insurance investigator. Crown is suave, confident and filthy rich. Pretty much an ideal part for a former James Bond actor. Watch out for Dennis Leary and Faye Dunaway.

Should I watch The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) before watching McTiernan's remake? Have never seen either flicks! Wondering if double viewing will enhance the experience of watching the movies, or if they're pretty similar and can be watched in any order? 1. 0.

A measured defense of The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) It’s fun! Split screens! Yaphet Kotto! Windmills of your Mind! The trailer for the movie is just repeated flashes of “STEVE McQEEN” and “FAYE DUNAWAY”, and it’s a pretty effective and accurate representation of the movie’s appeal. If you have these two people just being super ...

Warren Beatty noted she had a nice “bone structure “ and photographers from the era had realized she photographed nicely in a variety of different environments.
