I would love a database that would allow me to input the frequency, assigned user and related info, channel (if appropriate) in each radio, service, etc., all without needing to fire up the scanner's control software.
HI , Im looking for frecuencies in Puerto Rico interested trunked systems , p25,dmr, etc . I already cheked radio reference database. If anyone have a list of up to date database please let me know if you can share it. Many Thanks @ Hector NP4R
The database only shows what frequencies are already submitted. This doesn't help to discover new transmissions. Additionally, saying "start with large scan ranges" without providing examples of such range isn't helpful. The scan range of an RTL-SDR covers a spectrum of around 1700 MHz, it takes minutes to go through that range even using a scanner plugin. Perhaps my original message wasn't ...
FMN=Frequency Modulation- Narrow (FM Narrow) Read an excerpt from the WIKI: NFM - Narrowband FM (called FM on most scanners) -- is used on most current analog public safety communications and the total deviation is generally limited to 30 KHz down to about 12 KHz. Not open for further replies.
I'm wodering if anyone knows if there is a frequency lookup database out there. Now i know that you can get a chart from the US and Canadian government's outlining allocation...but it would be cool if you could lookup specific frequencies..ie: you have a frequency counter and you log 104.???mHz...
Is there a way to search the database for a particular frequency or license ID such as WQWN711 or WRMH670? If so how do I do it? EDit: Never mind. I found a way after I asked. If I make a Favorites list on my scanner will it scan a frequency that is not in the database? Thanks, Bob.
The thing is that FCC and other sources only has the name of the license holder of the frequency, that can be a radio company, and the actual users can be a totally different company. RR doesn't accept frequencies with partial info to be entered into the database.
I have been using SDR# Studio for my Airspy HF Discovery & SDRUno for my RSP1A. Have set up similar frequency databases for both in each software. I have now discovered SDR Console V3 which will run both devices. However efforts to setup a similar frequency database in that, is proving to be a...
Chicagoland. Aug 4, 2022. #4. ra7850 said: 07-28-2022 19:09. That is the multi mode scanning version. The FCC db was removed from the scanning software. The frequencies are imported from RR database csv files. Post #361 in the P25RXII multi mode scanning thread pinned above has a video of how to import from those files.
