The cost of a subway is way too much for city's here all we need is freeways that are wide enough. You can only build so much freeways before traffic starts to become unbearable.

The map shows where are transfers (meaning at what subway stations) between different subway lines. These transfers are free and one follows the signs to do the transfer. Sometimes the transfers are simply to cross a platform, but other cases involves going up & down stairs as well as walking though long tunnels.
I am looking at an apartment. It is quite close to an (elevated) subway line in Brooklyn. I noticed that while inside the apartment, the subway wasn't that loud going by. If you stop and think about it, you can hear a light rumble. How do people feel about living somewhere where you can hear the subway from your apartment (or see the subway).
