Kirby Opco, LLC, doing business as The Kirby Company (stylized as KIRBY), is a manufacturer of vacuum cleaners, home cleaning products and accessories, located in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. In 1918, it shortened its name to Scott & Fetzer Co. In 1922, it began manufacturing and selling Kirby vacuum cleaners, invented by James Kirby.
