Deer stand windows / design ideas. I came across a new "tower" (an old fuel tank stand) that I plan to build a box for since the wind took out one of my blinds. Thinking about a 4ft x 8 ft box to take advantage of the supports on the tower. Bottom of box will be about 5ft off the ground. Figure this will be a good "family" stand.

I spend most of my time during archery season using hang on stands because it allows me to be very mobile and adjust to different conditions and deer patterns; however during rifle season when rut is on and I plan on sitting all day I’ve got a couple of enclosed stands ...

They have shelves and keep moisture and bugs out as good as any other deer stand will. There's quite a few dealers around Texas and we've been pleased with ours.

4x8 Deer Stand Project (Picture Heavy) I recently got a new job and had 2 weeks off until my new employer wanted me to begin. So, with my free time I decided to build a deer stand.
