In March 2018, Dr. Arris Golden was selected as associate director of the SMB, and assistant director of MSU Bands. Prior, Golden had a brief tenure as the assistant director of The Marching Tar Heels. Working directly under the director are graduate assistants and various instructors for visuals, color guard and percussion.
