    This is a post I read by Qball20 on acura-legend.com and it worked for me exactly as described. Needless to say I was very pleased with not having to pay Acura to pull the radio. "You don't need to remove the radio. There's a non-use "button" between the fog light and rear-window defroster buttons. You can pop that off with a small screwdriver.

With this number you can call for the code to unlock the radio after you prove ownership ( I faxed the registration and my license).

    Press and hold the power button on the radio/nav system for a few seconds until it turns off. Release the power button and turn off the ignition. Open the hood and remove the negative battery cable. Wait for at least 15 minutes. Reconnect the negative battery cable and close the hood.

    To unlock the radio, you must press and hold presets numbered 1 and 6 for the radio then press the power on button. At that point the point the serial will display.
