Using the Asus pen on the bottom screen for note taking is very very enjoyable, far better than any tablet or laptop I've used. Battery life so far is about what you would expect. I'm getting 5-6 hours on dual screen with mixed use (chrome and one note for studying). This is with the brightness of both screens at 50%.

Based on my research, the i9 (10980hk ) used in the ux582 is a "mobile" version of the cpu... designed for a laptop form factor. Main caveat behind this is that while it utilizes a smaller power draw, it gets hotter... which is what you may be experiencing, thermal throttling when the internal temp gets high enough.

Here's what I have done for DUO 16 to switch back to Win 10: Install Win 10 using the USB option (search for media creation tool) Install it on the partition that marked as "OS". After installation, get the "MyAsus" app from Microsoft Store. Run MyAsus diagnostic and you will be prompted to update OS. Install all the relevant updates.
