@7T01R01 U of T doesn’t publicize acceptance rates. Their rates should be similar to University of Waterloo’s though and Waterloo publishes lots of data. You can google Waterloo engineering prof bill anderson blog to find tons of engineering admissions info from Waterloo. CC won’t let me provide a link.

If university of toronto is such a good school (it's one of the best in the world, no?), and expects rigorous grades frmo apllicants, why is the acceptance rate so high?</p> <p>Accoring to college board, it's 68%.</p> <p>I am applying there, and I was just wondering about that.</p> <p>Other universities that are apparently just as good have rates as lost as 20% or even 15%</p>
bouders December 1, 2016, 4:45pm 8. University of Toronto does not admit directly to the major. They admit to the program, but then there is a first year GPA hurdle to overcome in order to admit to the computer science specialist or major. The GPA hurdle is set that only about 50% will pass it.
