According to the post below, some Tristars are made in Italy by E. Rizzini. Also, found this auction. PA Hunter - the last photo in the Gunbroker auction you linked to is a SxS. If you look you will see a circled RL cartouche on the barrel flat to the left of the "made italy" - this is for Rota, Luciano.

I'm relatively new to shotguns, even though I've been guiding bird hunts for about 10 years, mostly focusing on dog work. Now, I'm eager to dive deeper into the shooting aspect and I'm in the market for a couple of reliable shotguns. Specifically, I'm torn between choosing a side-by-side shotgun in 12 or 20 gauge.

As far as shooting goes, I shoot the gun great almost as well as my 20ga beretta a400. Unfortunately it is completely unreliable with 2.5” shells.
I know they are made by Armsan, which also makes the Tristar shotguns (Viper, Raptor), the Weatherby SA-08, and I believe one of the Mossberg semis as well. In looking at the schematics in the owner's manuals, the parts diagrams look very similar between the Tristar Raptor and the Pointer.
Walmart TriStar Hunter EX. I was in the local Walmart on Sunday morning and they have a 12 gauge TriStar Hunter EX priced at $357. I already have a 12 gauge Khan O/U and a 16 gauge Hunter EX. After 3 months it's on it's way back to fix a problem with the safety. His dad had a conversation with a Tri-Star CS person and was told that their field guns are not meant for high volume shooting. She suggested they upgrade to their competition guns. So, Tri-Star admits that they won't hold up to high volume.
Who are the Turkish shotgun manufacturers? I don’t recognize all the gun makers in the forum title. I have a very nice Dickinson Estate 28/.410 combo made by Akus. They were the maker of the S&W Elites. A buddy has a Tristar Trinity made by Khan. Another has a Tristar Setter made by Kabel (sp). I’ve seen CZ’s made by Huglu.
Mossberg vs Tristar. I plan on getting either a Mossberg SA-20 or the Viper G2 20 gauge. Both are the straight black synthetic versions.
