I am hoping to apply to these schools: University of South Dakota, Eastern New Mexico University, Truman State, Fresno State, Fort Hays State, University of Central Arkansas, Idaho State University, University of Central Oklahoma. California is very competitive so I am hoping I can get into Fresno or I will have to go out-of-state.

From my research, Eastern New Mexico is the cheapest at 221 a credit hour if you take 6 or less credits. They are accredited and ranked 169. Here are my top picks: University of Northern Colorado Ranked #84 . Fall Admission . Part time, 3 years. 2-3 week requirement on campus . 33K total program cost. Eastern New Mexico University #169
Eastern New Mexico University also offers leveling courses. I completed all of my communicative disorders prerequisite courses there. It was cheaper compared to Longwood, and I learned a lot from the courses.
I would classify Eastern New Mexico University as a less competitive school. Some may classify a less competitive school just on ratio of applicants to how many they accept, but that does not take into account the GPA's and GRE scores of those applicants.
