With Discord's last update uncached users now show as "unknown-user" which makes it extremely annoying for moderation and for using bots in general (especially those that involve cooperating or competing with other users through trading or something else), when "unknown-user" appears you are not even able to copy the ID of the user.
Download OpenASAR, its a .bat file, run it. Once its downloaded on discord, go to settings, under app settings there will be a new tab labelled OpenASAR. Click on it, and you can enable multiinstance discord. Then, everytime you open discord, by opening it from the start menu or desktop shortcut, it will open a new instance.
Basically as far as I can tell : Better Discord has more plugins, more customization, less "suspect" plugins, but it's slower. Vencord has fewer plugins, not quite as much customization, but it's WAY faster. Unfortunately BetterDiscord is just really *really* clunky. Reply reply.
Eh all of the plug ins are publicly available and a lot of people tend to use the same 5-10 widely know plugins but if they did or didn’t isn’t a issue at all. Better for more people to know about them then not! Appreciate the concern though 😌

I've used better discord for quite awhile and have never been banned, nor heard of anyone getting banned from using it. I don't think using stuff like wallpapers or harmless plugins could get you in trouble. But message logger might as discord has the delete and edit text function for a reason.
Yes it is possible and yes there was a plugin for this. However as of June 5th 2022 you can no longer use the plugin. Better discord has blocked it because of privacy. So it is very much possible and worked really well. You just could not open and channels and type in them.
just download a release (right side) and run two installers (.exe) P.S. mb need to restart computer to check if autostart is set (starter.exe to folder autobettersdiscordinstaller) and antivirus not blocking it (it does in my case, so needed to manually add to trusted). Reply. Dusty0223.
ive been working hard to make my computer look like my family computer did back in like,,, 2008ish, basically the windows XP time period. a lot of websites i've gotten extensions to alter their appearance, ive been using programs to alter the actual look of my pc to look like XP (taskbar, start menu, icons, etc), i've got themes for my browsers to make them look older, blahblahblah
Fully QUIT Discord (Alt+f4) Move the file you downloaded to the folder you opened and replace the betterdiscord.asar. If the issue persists, temporarily uninstall BetterDiscord and try again in 2-6-12 hours until the issue is fixed. (MAC) Go to finder, press cmd + shift + G and paste in ~/Library/Application Support/betterdiscord/data.
